Welcome to the Student Loan Accelerator Program APP (SLAP APP)
The entire goal of SLAP is to help past and present students pay off their student load debt faster so they can get started in life earlier. SLAP assists students in asking family, friends and mentors (donors) to make monthly contributions to their student loans. SLAP makes it extremely easy for the donors by making the sign-up process painless and by offering many different contribution methods.
Recipient
Student Loan Holders
SLAP APP evolves around you, the recipient, who is the student loan holder. Our main goal is to help you find ways to pay down your student loans which allows you to move forward with your life. We work to bring your loved ones and friends, the donors, together to collectively pay down your student loans.
Graduated from College
SLAP APP was first conceived with graduated students in mind. We saw friends and family weighed down with student loan debt and wanted to create a way for them to ask for help. The whole situation was sort of crazy since the loan holders felt strange asking for help and the folks who could help felt strange asking if the graduates could use some help, so nothing would happen. We created SLAP APP so both the Donor and Recipient could ask each other without the whole uncomfortable face-to-face asking part but instead using texts and email…so much more comfortable.
Currently in College
While you are currently enrolled in college is actually the prime time to start using the SLAP APP. While enrolled you are not gathering interest and you are actually paying down loans as you accrue them. Using SLAP APP while enrolled could lead to having no student loan balance when you graduate, that’s a huge benefit! If at all possible, we urge everyone to start using SLAP APP as early as possible.

It is never easy to ask for help and with SLAP APP we do the asking for you. We invite your possible donors, we handle setting up how they donate and we take care of all the transferring of money. You as the recipient simply supply basic information of the people you would like to invite, we take care of the rest. SLAP APP evolves around the student loan holder, the recipient. We work to help them invite you to assist them to pay down their student loans. SLAP APP handles all the monetary transactions and ensures that the donated money is paid ONLY to the recipient’s student loans.

There is actually no tougher time than when you graduate and you have dreams of a home, of marriage and children and realize your student loan debt is going to get in the way to one or more of these aspirations. This is especially true when they realize it is going to take an average of ten years to pay off these loans. Now is when they need you, their loved ones and friends, to lend a helping hand. The 3-Stage
Process
- The recipient or donor downloads SLAP APP and signs up to use SLAP APP then invites potential donors or recipients through SLAP APP.
- SLAP APP invites the potential donors or recipient. SLAP APP signs up the donors or recipients and facilitates their monthly donations methods and amounts.
- Each month SLAP APP collects donations from donors and transfers the money to the recipients Student Loans Account(s).
The Growing Problem
SLAP recognizes that the student loan crisis is really not going away or getting better in the near future. This recognition is driven by the fact that there are more than 44 million borrowers who collectively owe $1.78 trillion in student loan debt in the U.S. alone. Along with the fact that the average student in the Class of 2023 has $37,650 in student loan debt. SLAP thinks starting out your new life and career with such a large debt makes it very hard to move forward in life.
